Today God brought home another angel and  welcomed him in the gate. Today I find comfort knowing he no longer feels pain. Knowing he is in heaven smiling down upon us. Saying I'm ok baby girl, I'm home. I'm ok, and I'm Watching, and one day, I will see you again.  So many laughs, and great memories, shared with a great man. Remembering him as he was. Those country roads, cook outs, rides with him in his big truck. And fishing, baiting my hook, and helping me reel a big one in. Playing in the sand, watching him sit on a bank. Or just the comfort of his voice. Hearing it made me know everything will be just fine.  I love you poppa, thank you for those memories, and most of all, looking down on us. Never forgotten and always in our heart.  Until we meet you again  "ride poppa ride"
