Cynthia Darlene Sneed of Banks, AL passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 at her residence. She was 59. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with eulogy given by her family. The funeral service detail from Ft. Rucker, AL will provide Full Military Honors, Skeen Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Sneed was born November 1, 1958 in Mobile, AL to the late Rassie Alford and Audrey Pearl Carpenter Godwin. She proudly served our country in the U.S. Army for 27 years, She was a loving mother, sister and friend. She is survived by her daughter and spouse, Angela Green (Jeanie Gillman), Banks, AL; Homer Sneed , Banks; sisters, Tammy Driggers (Melissa Odom), Opp. AL and Carol Carswell Bond, MS; brothers, Timothy Godwin, MS, Ronnie Godwin and Danny Godwin both of Banks; a nephew, Chase Driggers, N.C. and a niece, Gabie Godwin, Banks and her loving dog T.J.
