Obituary for Roxie Jerry Mallett

Mrs. Roxie Jerry Mallett, formally of Mt. Moriah Community passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming, GA. She was 92. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Pastor Mack Lowery officiating. In case of inclement weather we will have the service for Mrs. Mallett in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Burial will follow with Skeen Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Mallett was born March 10, 1926 in Clio, AL to the late Warren C. Jones and Fan Scofield Jones. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Mallett. She and her late husband were proud supporters of the American Legion. She was also a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She is survived by 2 daughters and spouses, Sara and Doug Branson, Troy and Lane and Harold Cagle, Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren, Doug Branson II (Toni), Troy, and Stephenie Kelly (Dennis), Troy; great grandchildren, Gus Hughes, Virginia Branson, Katherine Branson, Doug Branson III and Lily Branson all of Troy; and a sister Betty Dorman (Carl), Clayton, AL. Memorials may be made to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
