Mrs. Mary Trawick of Banks, AL passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Troy Regional Medical Center. She was 88. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2017 at Loflin Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Oakes and Rev. Roger Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. The family will also receive friends Friday at the church one hour prior to the service. She was born August 23, 1928 in Pike County, AL to the late John Henry and Mozell Meredith Brown. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hayward Trawick, and a brother, James Brown. She is survived by 3 sons, Leslie Trawick (Barbara) Opp; Larry Trawick (Janie), Banks; Lenny Trawick (Theresa) Brundidge; sister, Bertha McLendon, Troy; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Brown, Troy; Hazel Trawick Mobley, Luverne; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Trawick, Jr., Terry Trawick, Chris Trawick, Brian Trawick, Zach Trawick and Howard Dickey, Jr. Memorials may be made to Loflin Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Douglas Phillips 1239 County Road 6628, Banks AL 36005.
