Mr. Joe Preston Swain of Troy passed away Monday, May 30, 2017 at his residence. He was 76. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Perdue Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. He was born September 11, 1940 in Pike County, AL to the late J. B. and Ruby Mulkey Swain. He is survived by his brothers, M. J. Swain (Earlene) Avon Park, FL; F. J. Swain (Sonya), Webb, AL; sisters, Hazel Bell, Avon Park, FL; Betty Hudley (Fred), Brundidge, AL; Martha Crawley and Frankie Nelson (James) all of Troy, AL.
