Mrs. Nita Faye Dickey of Troy passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 at her residence. She was 51. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Pastor Wilburn Kirkland officiating, Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be at later date. She was born December 10, 1962 in Troy, AL. to the late Woody Whitehead and Mary Louise Hartley Whitehead. She is survived by her husband: Melvin R. Dickey, Troy; daughters: Roxanne (Chad) Adkinson, Troy; Marlena Dickey and Fiancé, Billy McClan, Elba; and Connie Marie Matteny, Banks; grandchildren: Ashleigh Adkinson, Troy; Khloe Mehaffey, Elba; Bryson McClan, Elba; Desiree Bundy, Brundidge; and Brittany Matheny, S.C; great granddaughter: Lindsey Bundy, Brundidge; sisters: Ruby Rushing, Liz Green, Margie Golden, and Sharon Kirkland all of Troy; and Lillian Johnson, Brundidge; brothers: Billy Wayne Whitehead and Johnny Ray Whitehead both of Troy; and a number of nieces and nephews
