Sarah Linda Dick of Troy passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. She was 66. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Rick Hayes officiating, Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service. She was born November 20, 1947 in Geneva County, AL. to the late Eugene Welch and Sarah Gladys Brooks Welch. She retired from Fruit of the Loom, Russell and Alatex after 37 years. She was a loving mother and most compassionate friend to hundreds. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Eve, her sisters, Wanda Dianne and Vickie Eugenia and a brother, Jimmy Rand Welch. She is survived by her husband: Lewis R. Dick, Troy; daughters: Rhonda (Larry D) Green, Wilkinstown, AL; and Darla Henderson, Jack, AL; grandchildren: Callie Rewetti, New Zealand; Charles (Kathryn) Faircloth, Brundidge, AL; Cassidy Pollard and Shane Tillery, both of Douglasville, GA; and Christie Green, Wilkinstown, AL; great grandchildren: Mason Faircloth and Easton Faircloth both of Troy, AL; Makel Pollard, Adian Pollard, Adaleigh Pratcher, Laceston Terry and Danica Wallace and Mere Rewetti; brother and sister-in-law: Linn and Meredith Welch, Troy; sister-in-law: Lori Welch, Banks; and several nieces and nephews.
