Miss Melissa Gayle Wilkerson of Dozier, AL, formally of the Ariton area, died as a result of an automobile accident Friday, November 29, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery. She was 38. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2013 at Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church with Rev. Calvin Faircloth and Pastor Ashley Faulk officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge. She was born May 29, 1975 in Troy, Alabama to Levi and Glenell Wilkerson. She is survived by her mother; Glenell Senn, father: Levi Wilkerson, brother: Jamie McCall, children; Patience Nicole Wilkerson Whitley, Kasey Elizabeth Lee, James Taylor Wilkerson, grandparents; Wylleen and Marrell Wilkerson, niece; Brianna (Cody) Callaway, nephew; Shane McCall; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Serving as pallbearers will be Jacky Roberts, Matt Murphy, George Whitley, Roger Jolly, Shawn Miller and Chris McCafferty.
